Minimalist, superlight liner shorts for low-intensity riding. Engineered with our new, less aggressive Sport Touring insert, a more secure fit, and an ultralight, utltrabreathable textile.
BEHIND THE PRODUCT
The new TACTICA Sport Touring Liner Shorts are engineered for less-intense rides — touring, the bike park, ebikes, and commuting. They’re refined for pure utility with minimal weight and ultimate breathability, so they layer seamlessly under any over shorts or pants. The waist construction and leg bands are the same as the more robust TACTICA HP liner, wrapping the waist and thighs with lightly compressive security. The minimalist OFF-ROAD ST T3 Insert has a minimal 6mm of foam, engineered with a mono-layer construction to erase microvibrations and diffuse the lighter impacts of less aggressive off-road riding.

The first layer of the TACTICA system, effective paired with the TACTICA outer layers for road touring or less-intense off-road surfaces, ebikes, and bike parks.

FEATURED FABRICS
Impossibly cooling and ultrabreathable, the Airflow.1299 warp-knit textile is the lightest of our TACTICA liner materials. The zigzaggy structure reinforces the airy mesh, adding secure stability. This material is too light to wear without an over short. Speedy textile is highly elastic, controls odor, and provides compressive hold at the waist.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
Cut in a second-skin fit for unobtrusive layering beneath TACTICA Cargo equipment with all primary stitches reversed to eliminate friction next to your skin.
ENGINEERING
- zeroPressure Waist: A soft, ultra-elastic construction that improves comfort and hold at the waist, minus any pressure or pinching.
- Superlight Leg Grippers: Elastic incorporated into lightly compressive bands creates a secure hold without restriction.
Women’s OFF-ROAD ST T3 Insert
- Shock-Absorb Damping Mono 6: Compressive foam reduced to a minimalist 6mm and engineered for more upright riding positions. Thermoformed shaping reduces ridges and irritation.
- 3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight while absorbing shocks.
- goldenGate 2.0: The insert is attached at front and rear with floating sides and center, letting it move with your body rather than against it. New cut-outs on wings reduce volume and friction throughout the pedal stroke.
